The Allendale is a small friendly family run establishment and we aim to cater for the needs of all who visit. We have 15 guest bedrooms, and whilst we aim to meet the needs of all our guests there are some period features which might make access difficult for people with limited mobility. We are located on a main road into Blackpool town centre and have rooms at different levels, with steps into the building and to all the rooms. Rooms are of typical proportions and not suitable for wheelchair users.
We are located in a row of Hotels and Guest houses almost at the corner of the street. Our location is close to the town centre, Blackpool Tower and the Winter Gardens and ideally suited to those travelling without a car. The nearest shops are approximately 500metres away.
The nearest bus stop is just under 500metres away at in the town centre. The nearest railway station is Blackpool North which is approximately 1 mile away. Taxis are usually available at the station and we can book one for you in advance if required. There are several local taxi companies and, again, we can make bookings in advance for you. Brochures and menus can be provided in large print if required. We regret we do not have facilities to prepare documents in Braille.

Arrival and Car Parking
Please advise us of your anticipated arrival time so that we can be sure we are here to welcome you.
To ensure your accommodation is ready we ask that guests do not normally arrive before 2.00pm. Earlier arrival may, however, be possible by arrangement.
Parking is on a concrete area at the rear of the building, and we request that you book in at reception, leave your vehicle keys and it will be parked for you. Due to the car park restrictions we ask that if you require your car early on the day of departure that you mention this at breakfast the previous day to avoid delay of your departure. We offer assistance with luggage.
There are 6 steps of 9 inches up to the front door with a hand rail on both sides. The front door is normally closed and a bell is provided to call for assistance.
A selection of local information, maps, magazines and board games are available in the Hall.
Breakfast and evening meals are served in the dining room.
We are licensed for the sale of alcohol.
The bedrooms are up a flight of stairs to a landing with a further 3 steps to the floor levels and are carpeted throughout. There are en suite facilities in all rooms consisting of a shower, WC and wash basin. Tea and coffee facilities are provided, bottled water or fresh milk can be provided if requested. There is a wardrobe, chest of drawers and dressing table in each room, and additional seating in some of the rooms also.
